Valerio Snc performs cold stamping operations for the subcontract production of metal parts and sheet metal components.
The department is equipped with eccentric presses, bending machines and automatic sheet metal feeding systems. This setup makes it possible to process both previously machined parts and material directly from coil, using decoilers, straighteners and automatic feeders.
Operations performed
The department can carry out various material forming operations:
Bending Bending makes it possible to modify the geometry of a component through controlled deformation of the sheet metal.
Blanking Blanking is used to separate or shape the material using specially designed dies.
Punching Punching operations make it possible to create holes, slots and functional geometries directly during the stamping cycle.
Deep drawing Deep drawing makes it possible to obtain concave or three-dimensional shapes starting from a flat sheet.
Forming and secondary operations The presses can also be used for riveting, shaping and further deformation of components that have already undergone previous machining operations.
Automatic stamping from coil
For production runs compatible with this system, the material can be fed automatically directly from sheet metal coil.
Decoilers, straighteners and feeders prepare and move the material in coordination with the press. The automated process helps ensure more consistent production and reduces manual handling.
Production of stamped parts
Cold stamping processes can be used to manufacture:
bent forks;
U-bolts;
blanked flat bars and square sections;
bent and punched sheet metal parts;
formed tubes;
pins and riveted components;
brackets and small metal parts;
custom-made components according to customer specifications.
The production setup is determined according to the material, the shape of the component and the required quantities.
When required, stamped parts can undergo additional in-house processes such as turning, milling or robotic welding.
This integration makes it possible to manage components requiring several production stages, entrusting the coordination of the different processes to a single supplier.
