Robotic MIG, MAG and TIG welding

Valerio Snc has a dedicated department for the robotic welding of metal components, designed to ensure process continuity, precise movements and repeatable production results.

The systems use anthropomorphic robots with up to nine simultaneously controlled and interpolated axes, equipped with MIG, MAG and TIG welding power sources.

The department can process iron, aluminium and stainless steel components with dimensions of up to 2,200 × 1,100 × 1,100 mm.

The availability of different welding technologies makes it possible to select the most suitable process according to the material, component geometry and the characteristics required of the joint.

MIG and MAG processes are used to create efficient joints on a wide range of metal components. They are particularly suitable for automated processes and production runs where it is important to maintain consistency from one part to the next.

TIG welding allows accurate process control and is suitable for applications requiring particular attention to weld quality and bead geometry.

The use of anthropomorphic robots makes it possible to reach different areas of the component and follow complex welding paths.

Simultaneous axis control enables precise management of torch movement and component positioning, helping to achieve:

• belonging to the same production order.

The department is organised to process different types of metal and can be used for the production of brackets, levers, plates, forks, bases, welded pins and other assemblies intended for industrial applications.

Each production order is assessed according to its dimensions, material, type of joint and the specifications provided by the customer.
